  • Option 3: Non-Commerce Graduates/Post Graduates with Specific Percentage: To be qualified for CA Intermediate, non-commerce graduates or postgraduates must obtain a minimum of 60% in their qualifying examination. They, like commerce candidates, must complete 9 months of articleship.

Please keep in mind that the percentage criteria given above are just for straight acceptance into CA Intermediate. These percentage requirements do not apply to candidates who have completed the CA Foundation level.


Duration of CA Course:

For aspiring candidates, the length of the CA (Chartered Accountancy) course is important. Here's a more extensive breakdown of how long it takes to finish the CA course:


1. Foundation Level:

  • Duration: 4-6 months

  • Overview: The Foundation level is the starting point for the CA program. This level normally takes 4 to 6 months to complete. Individual preparation and study practices may influence the duration.

2. Intermediate Level:

  • Duration: 8-10 months

  • Overview: Candidates advance to the Intermediate level after successfully completing the Foundation level. This stage normally lasts 8 to 10 months. It is made up of in-depth topics that address various aspects of accounting, law, taxation, and auditing.

3. Articleship Training:

  • Duration: 3 years
