Normally, it would take 3-4 years to complete all the examinations. However, students can complete their course in less time if they qualify for certain exemptions based on prior education or professional experience. Students can certainly plan their strategy and make the most of exemptions to accelerate their way toward becoming an ACCA-certified professional. ACCA Exam 2025 Eligibility
To become eligible for the ACCA 2025 qualification, candidates have to go through certain academic requirements and age criteria. Candidates must be at least 18 years old to register. For 12th pass students, one needs to get at least 65% marks in Mathematics/Accounts and English and 50% marks in other subjects. These students have to appear for all the 13 papers without taking any exemptions. Qualifications allow graduates to claim exemptions. Commerce graduates are granted up to 5 exemptions. Non-commerce graduates begin without exemptions. MBA graduates specializing in finance and Chartered Accountants may claim up to 9 exemptions.
Those without the necessary academic background can start with the Foundation in Accountancy (FIA) program. Registration is possible without any work experience, but a candidate has to have at least 36 months of relevant practical experience for membership into ACCA. Proficiency in the English language is also necessary, as all the exams are taken in English
